Why Lion's Mane Tinctures Are Only as Good as the Alcohol Inside Them
Lion's Mane has gathered more serious attention over recent years than nearly any other functional mushroom. A hot water preparation captures the polysaccharides but cannot reach the alcohol-soluble compounds at all.

It is in direct contact with the mushroom material throughout the entire soaking period and becomes the delivery vehicle for whatever was extracted. What that alcohol is made from, and what it carries into the process, shapes the finished product.

The production process excludes the residues that conventional agricultural practices can carry into the final product.
